Decommissioning / Dismantling of the Stade NPP 2010

The two latest additions to Siempelkamp Engineering and Service GmbH have taken their first steps for a successful cooperation in the dismantling project of the nuclear power plant Stade. A team of experts from Siempelkamp NIS Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH has been involved with the dismantling, disassembling and packaging of the reactor pressure vessel including peripheral equipment at the nuclear power plant Stade since February 2008. In March 2009 Siempelkamp NIS commissioned Siempelkamp Krantechnik with the production, delivery and assembly of a gantry crane for the scheduled dismantling assignment in the control area of the nuclear power plant Stade.

Since February of 2008 an expert team of Siempelkamp NIS Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH has been fully involved in a large-scale project at the nuclear power plant Stade. These specialists are planning the dismantling, disassembling and packing of the reactor pressure vessel including all peripheral internals at the plant.

NIS-PAR modules: Added safety worldwide in nuclear power plants

Siempelkamp NIS Ingenieurgesellschaft’s performance in Asia was impressive in 2013: NIS-PAR modules are now also beginning to be used in Japanese nuclear power plants as safety devices for hydrogen depletion in hypothetical incidents. The customer therefore uses a highly proven Siempelkamp product to control the release of hydrogen during an imputed core melt accident.
