25 years of Siempelkamp MSDG SAS – a special anniversary

On February 1, we will celebrate an important milestone in our company's history: exactly 25 years ago, our company was entered in the commercial register in Sarreguemines, marking the official launch of what is now Siempelkamp MSDG SAS.

With the establishment of a French subsidiary, SIEMPELKAMP pursued a clear goal: to be closer to the market and to customers. We are proud of what we have achieved together since then:

Highlights of success from 25 years

First long-term service contract (MCO) with EDF/UTO for 10 years
Large order for six modernizations of bolt tensioning machines and a new machine for Gravelines
Commissioning of the first seven bolt cleaning machines by EDF/UTO
Order for additional lock tensioning devices by EDF
Commissioning of four bolt tensioning machines for modernization by Electrabel (Belgium)
Order for a universal emergency tensioning system by EDF/ULM

And these are just a few of the milestones that have shaped our journey.

Long-standing partnerships
Today, we continue to have a long-term service contract with EDF that covers the operation of the bolt tensioning machines, annual maintenance, and inspections. Ensuring a stable, trusting partnership is equally important to EDF and Siempelkamp NIS.
We are also making successful progress in the field of bolt cleaning machines:
At the beginning of January, the 15th machine was ordered by the Cattenom nuclear power plant. We are a leading partner in France for the provision of assistance and the supply of spare and consumable parts.
