CORA-CALCOM - Software for the planning and cost calculation of the decommissioning of nuclear facilities

Planning and cost calculation of the decommissioning of nuclear facilities are complex tasks requiring large amounts of data, for the management of which CORA-CALCOM was designed as a database program system.

CORA-CALCOM enables to create a project structure, to calculate costs and personnel expenses as well as to record inventory data of a nuclear facility and to plan the management and disposal of radioactive waste from decommissioning. CORA-CALCOM uses relevant facility data that are stored in an inventory database.

Main features are:

  • A mass-based calculation using direct access to the inventory data of the nuclear facility.

  • The deployment of various calculation models.

  • Automated and standardized calculation regarding waste management and disposal

  • The calculation of the temporal course of the project costs, the personnel requirements as well as the decommissioning and disposal masses

  • The export of the project schedule to MS-Project for the analysis of schedule dependencies and for the presentation of the schedule.

CORA-CALCOM is used in the complex calculation of provisions for the decommissioning of German nuclear power plants as well as in the calculation of decommissioning projects in Europe.

With our experience from more than 40 years of practice in planning and cost calculation of dismantling projects in nuclear technology, we support and advise you as a competent and reliable partner in decommissioning planning and cost calculation with CORA-CALCOM.
