Reactor Pressure Vessel Stud transport-/ storage racks and transport beams

Complementary to RV Stud Turning Devices / Robots we provide our customers with storage stands and transportation devices for transporting the RPV studs and the cover nuts within the reactor building. These items ensure quick and easy handling and provide protection against stud thread damage during interim storage for maintenance overhauls. We adapt all facilities and devices to suit the specific application on customer's request.

Reactor Pressure Vessel Stud Racks
Reactor Pressure Vessel Stud Racks for intermediate storage and transportation for maintenance measures like stud thread cleaning and inspection.
RV–Studs loaded into the transport-/ storage racks.
RV–Studs loaded into the transport-/ storage racks. The RV studs threads are protected and secured by polyamide rings at the top and by polyamide bushings at the bottom part of the stud racks. Therefore, the RV studs stay in the safe position during transport.
RV Stud Racks
RV Stud Racks designed in the shape of the reactor for effective placement around the reactor. After stud removal, the Stud Turning Tool places the RV Studs directly into the stud rack.
Traverse beam
Traverse beam with electrical chain hoist for single stud tensioner.
