The ISSm tip timing system developed by NIS can be operated with inductive sensors as well as with eddy current sensors.
With ISSm, vibration amplitudes and frequencies of individual blades can be determined.
Therefore it possible to determine potential damages to the blading (changes in the natural frequencies of each blade) and to identify unfavorable operating points (comparison of vibration amplitudes with process parameters).
