Unbalance can lead to increased or intolerable vibrations. An unbalance can be caused, for example, by revision work such as blade replacement or changed alignment of the coupling (radial coupling misalignment). The measurement and evaluation are carried out according to DIN ISO 7919 and 10816.
Since an unbalance is not always the cause of increased vibrations, it is necessary that a vibration analysis and diagnosis be carried out before balancing.
Due to many years of experience, we are able to balance steam turbines, gas turbines and generators from nearly all manufacturers.
In addition to the measured vibrations, we also consider the calculated rotor dynamics of the machine. With the use of static or dynamic correction weights we keep the number of balancing runs low. This also keeps the expenditure for our customers on a minimum level.
